Ron Carroll, through Fact & Friction Inc, provides production companies with creative support and guidance, working independently or directly with in-house development teams.
Recent projects include format development for October Films In New York and FBE (Fine Brothers Entertainment) in Los Angeles.
He has also worked with companies such as Barcroft Studios and Nerd, advising on pitches and approaches to networks and streamers in the United States.
He regularly collaborates with Primal NY, on the multi-award-winning digital venture "Back of House."
Ron was hired to establish the format, set the tone and style, script and show-run the launch of marblemedia's highly acclaimed competition series for Netflix, "Blown Away." Time Magazine called it "one of the must-watch shows of summer." Slate Magazine placed it in their Top 10 shows of 2019.
Currently, Ron has a shopping deal for an original business format, with Catalina Content, a new LA label run by "Dance Moms" creator Jeff Collins, backed by Sky Studios.
He consults with UK prod-cos about pitching the US and Canada and making key connections.
