We are here and there

For over a decade, Fact & Friction Inc. has helped create content for audiences across the world. Our expertise is new-show development, launches and fixes.

Recent projects include format development for October Films In New York and FBE (Fine Brothers Entertainment) in Los Angeles.

The company regularly collaborates with Primal NY,  on the multi-award-winning digital venture "Back of House."

We recently worked with the team from UniLad in London, casting and story-consulting on two lightly-branded comedic documentaries for their client, Yum! Group.

Fact & Friction was hired to shape-up the format, set the tone and style, script and show-run the launch of marblemedia's highly acclaimed competition series for Netflix, "Blown Away." Time Magazine called it "one of the must-watch shows of summer." Slate Magazine placed it in their Top 10 shows of 2019.

Other popular show credits include Undercover Boss, Next Top Model, and The People's Couch (That's Gogglebox in Britain!)

Fact & Friction Inc. also increasingly works remotely, shaping up original formats with partners on both sides of the US, across Canada, and in the UK.

We currently have a shopping deal for an original business format, with Catalina Content, a new LA label run by "Dance Moms" creator Jeff Collins, backed by Britain's Sky Studios.

Before starting Fact & Friction Inc., Ron was a senior producer with Warner Brothers, working with the likes Sharon Osbourne, Tyra Banks, and Judge Mathis. In the UK, during his time at Two Four and Shine, he produced network shows for Ruth Langsford and Fiona Phillips, among others.

about their TV & Digital Projects

Fact & Friction Inc. has become a go-to for creative guidance and leadership.

We create original content and also work "for hire," to bring all types of shows to screen: crafting formats, writing show "bibles," casting, scripting and show-running. We tackle it all: from pitch to prep,  and production to post.

As a response to tightening budgets, and at the increasing request of clients, we are now also offering full or half-day "creative guidance and support sessions." We can work with your existing development team in person or remotely by video conference to help shape up story, fix formats and help get shows ready to pitch...  It's cost-effective, practical and productive.

Working with Brands and

Video consumption now dominates internet traffic. It accounts for 80% of everything we view online.

Customers are 85% more likely to buy after watching a video.

Video can be adapted for every platform, from Facebook to Snapchat and Instagram, or for a home on your company website. It is also a powerful tool for live presentations, helping induct new employees, assist with training, showcase a new product, or simply to help bring your story to your customers or clients. Fact & Friction uses Ultra High Definition cameras to create rich and visually thoughtful content.

We can also attract the brightest and best creative and technical talent to bring your story to screen.

Coaching on-screen hosts and other talent

These days, we're all expected to have a "brand" and be clear about who we are and what we stand for. We're all expected to be comfortable in front of the camera. Are you?
